NPIAP recognized Mark Olmstead as the recipient of this year’s Thomas Stewart Founder’s Award
Mölnlycke congratulates Mark Olmstead (VP, Strategic Accounts & Health Economic, US) for being the recipient of this year’s Thomas Stewart Founder’s Award.
At it’s annual conference each year, the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP), clinical leaders, healthcare providers and professionals gather to share and learn about the latest advancements in the management & prevention of pressure injuries.
The NPIAP and Molnlycke share a common mission: to improve patient outcomes. Our ongoing collaboration has advanced education, public policy and research in the field.
Contributors to this noble cause are countless, but every other year the NPIAP presents special honors to some members that are particularly deserving of recognition. There are only four prestigious achievement awards awarded every 2 years.
It is with great pride that we congratulate one of our own, Mark Olmstead (VP, Strategic Accounts & Health Economic, US) for being the recipient of this year’s Thomas Stewart Founder’s Award.
The Thomas Stewart Founder’s Award is presented to a person who has made significant contributions to the field of pressure injury prevention and treatment, particularly relating to public policy.
The NPIAP’s Board of Directors recognize Mark’s tireless efforts to raise awareness at the highest levels; transform pressure injury policy and payment incentives that help minimize the impact of pressure injuries on patients in the US and, around the world.
Mark’s significant contributions led to the inclusion for research on pressure injury every year since 2018 in the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) Peer-Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP).
It is a privilege to congratulate Mark for his leadership and efforts in making a difference worthy of this recognition for our healthcare providers and patients. Please join us in congratulating Mark on this well-earned honor.
